Frequently asked questions

What does a session cost?

Individual therapy sessions are $110 per 50 minute session. I do not accept insurance, and sessions are billed as private pay.

I offer a sliding fee scale for a limited number of clients. If you have concerns regarding my regular fee, please don't hesitate to ask about this sliding fee scale, and we can work together to determine a payment that will work for you.

Who do you work with?

I offer individual counseling for adults, ages 18 and older. I am licensed to practice within the state of Washington.

What is Telehealth?

Telehealth is any healthcare service provided online or over the phone. For Teletherapy, we typically use video calls, so we can still talk face-to-face. Phone sessions are also available in the event of internet or connection issues.

Is Tele-therapy as effective as in-person therapy?

Yes! Research has shown that Teletherapy can be just as effective as in person sessions. The work we do is the same as if we were sitting in the room together, with the added benefit of you being able to be in a space you are comfortable. It also allows you to see a therapist who is a great fit, not just settling for one in your immediate area.

Why Telehealth?

In therapy, we often explore areas that are sensitive or vulnerable, which for many can be emotional. Teletherapy allows you to be in your own space, meaning you can have comforts and coping skills immediately on hand, including pets and support animals.

Because there is no travel time, Teletherapy can be easier to work into busy schedules. It can also be a way to work around other barriers to therapy, such as childcare, chronic health issues, and transportation (just to name a few). Teletherapy can be a great fit for many people!

Do you offer in-person sessions?

All sessions and services are offered through Telehealth, allowing you to begin your wellness journey from the comfort of your own home.
